It’s a little ironic that Zach is the one who says actors don’t get inextricably tied to their roles anymore when I often see people claiming that Sylar is playing Spock.

I wonder if the interviewer knows what Spork means to the fandom. Quinto and Pine obviously do.

@backto1960 I think he just found the tone of the interviewer to be more serious so he acted that way. In another interview I saw of him, him and chris were just always cracking jokes and smiling

I love Star Trek the Original but I have to admit, the movie this year was great. It had a lot of potential and passed my expectations. And I think all the actors chosen to play the characters were brilliant and well chosen! Especially Zachary and Chris. I’m very critical as to who should act certain parts and was hoping that they’d act Kirk and Spock well and they did! The best part was that they didn’t even copy their exact characters but added their own individuality into it.
It’s so great to see that they’re not only marvelous actors, but that they are also both extremely intelligent. It’s a wonderful thing to see in hollywood these days.

I disagree.
Zachary says that he doesnt think that people connect actors with the character like they did in the past…
well I have a great attention span when it comes to Spock. and I miss Leonard Nimoy as Spock already. tho I think Zachary Quinto did a fairly good job. (I hope these actors stick around, it will not make it if they are not as dedicated as the originals if you ask me!)
